Introduction

Methylene blue is a blue dye previously known for it’s medicinal purposes. The Blue dye was commonly used as a urinary tract antiseptic, a lab stainer,  or as a vivid dye in the fabric industry. Now, Methylene Blue for Anti-Aging is gaining popularity for men and women.

What is Methylene Blue? (MB)

Methylene blue was discovered in 1876 by German Chemist Heinrich Caro while working at BASF. Methylene Blue was the first synthetic dye to be widely produced for blue colored fabrics. A microbiologist became curious about this new discvovery and began to use it to stain cells and bacteria which drastically changed microscope-based diagnostics.

in the late 1800’s Methylene Blue was a pharmaceutical product to treat malaria, which opened the doors to other synthetic medications in the pharmaceutical industry.

Methylene Blue was used as an anti-septic for urinary tract infection treatments . It was adopted as a treatment for methomoglobinemia, a blood disorder where oxygen is impared. However, new drugs came into the medicine field to treat illnesses such as malaria which caused the decline of methylene blue.

Methylene blue was recently re-discovered in modern medicine through studies illustrating the neuroprotective effects in the brain. These neruprotective effects improved mitochondrial function which led to it’s anti-aging benefits.

The science behind Anti-Aging.

The process of Aging happens with mitochondrial decline. As we age less ATP is produced in these cells and begin to let out more free radicals which damages the cells further.

Oxidative stress will also damage your DNA, Proteins and Lipids, this rusting of the body contributes to wrinkles and cognitive decline.

As previously mention, cognitive decline begins to occur which means aging in the brain. Neurons are vulnerable to oxidative damage and mitochondrial failure, leading to memory loss and slower thinking.

Thanks to our scientists we now have re-discovered a different solution and we call it Methylene blue for anti-aging.

Methylene Blue and Anti-Aging benefits

Research has illustrated methylene blue for anti aging can act as an electron carrier, supporting mitochondria to produce more ATP (energy) more efficiently and reducing harmful free radical production. said action can reduce cellular energy decline.

Methylene blue for anti-aging works as an antioxidant, cleaning out free radicals and preventing them from over producing inside of the mitochondria.

Mehtylene Blue crosses the barrier in the brain called the blood and brain barrier. This cross-over will allow the boost in cell energy which improves memory and protects neurons from degenerating. If this doesn’t convince you that of how great Methylene blue is for anti-aging, I don’t know what will!

Bonus: Methylene blue has proven to be effective in the reduction of appearance in wrinkles and enhancement of collagen production.

How is Methylene Blue taken?

Methylene blue for anti-aging can be taken orally, or can be applied topically.
